I ordered this for my 14 year old who requested it by name. however, the purple was my idea. Unfortunately Dad screwed up and ordered the wrong size. I checked into exchanging the shoe for the correct size and shipping was quite expensive. I got lucky. My 12 year old niece wears the size I mistakenly ordered for my daughter. I just oredered another pair for my daughter in the correct size. Now My 14 year old and my 12 year old niece both have Purple Chucks Converse All Stars. They are two happy young girls which makes me happy. Good product. Wearing well thus far.
